Community service is a central part of our mission here at St. Peter’s. We aim to reach out to all members of the community and make our church a place where people of all backgrounds can feel safe and nourished, both spiritually and physically.
Each Thursday from 12:00pm to 2:00pm, we open our doors to those who are in need of a hot meal. Volunteers serve our guests a nutritious sit-down meal in our undercroft. All are welcome to enjoy lunch and fellowship with us.
On the third Tuesday of each month from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm, we distribute groceries to those who are struggling to put food on the table. Generous donations and grants allow us to provide a vital service to our community in a time when public funding is scarce and public programs are being cut back.
